Herbal Medicine is priced separately to consultations and varies between €10, €15 or €20 per week depending on the amount of symptoms or conditions being treated.
Repeat prescriptions are charged per week and can be posted or collected.

The cost of herbal medicine treatment goes progressively down and it’s rare for people to be on prescriptions longer than one year.
At the start of treatment, I'll prescribe for 2 to 4 weeks and then have a follow up consultation to see if any adjustments need to be made. So normally the first session with 2 weeks medicine would cost €110 to €120. If the consultation is to do with regulating menstruation, for example easing pain or reducing breast tenderness, then I'll give 4 weeks medicine - so in that case the total initial cost would be €140 to €160
Usually when the prescription is working well, people don't see me as often because the herbal tonic is doing the work - normalising and strengthening the body and reducing symptoms. When this happens, you can just order a repeat prescription without having a consultation. But if something needs to be changed, then a consultation is usually required.
